AMD's new Elite Mobility APU (formerly codenamed "Temash") -- purpose-built for a variety of mobile computing form factors -- uniquely fills a critical space in today's market. As the world's first 28nm, quad-core x86 system-on-a-chip (SoC), it brings the performance of a high-end processor to touch tablets, small form-factor notebooks and hybrids 13-inches and below, all while sipping only a few watts of power and thus enabling excellent battery life.
