The future's bright, the future's a... Porsche Panamera estate, according to Porsche at least. As well as bringing along the new four wheel drive 911, Porsche also unleashed its conceptual dreams at Paris 2012.
The Sport Turismo is a plug-in hybrid which twins a 333bhp V6 with a 95bhp 'leech motor. The result is a sub-6.0second 0-62mph time and over 60mpg, apparently.
The rear of the car is a definite highlight - it extends the Panamera's roofline a little and adds the rear lamps from the 911 into the mix. It's a little reminiscent of the stunning Alfa Romeo Brera, too. No bad thing.
The front features full-LED headlamps, while the interior has been stripped of unnecessary buttons and replaced with a tablet-ensue screen. A smartphone app will enable you to control some aspects of the car from the outside, too.
A plug-in hybrid Panamera is a little way off, but a wagon? Sooner that we think...
