It’s time for an almighty, all-American off-road battle!
Mat’s got his hands on the absolutely huge Hennessey Mammoth, and he’s facing off against the Hummer H2!
Now if there’s one thing these behemoths aren’t missing, it’s weight, with both tipping the scales at 3,000kg! However, it’s fair to say their performance stats differ pretty substantially.
Starting with the Hennessey, it originally started life as a Dodge RAM pick-up, which came equipped with a 6.2-litre naturally-aspirated V8. However, Hennessey got their hands on it, supercharged it, and now it produces 1,026hp and 1,314Nm of torque!
In comparison, the Hummer H2 arrives with ‘just’ a 6.2-litre NA V8. As a result, it puts down 393hp and 563Nm of torque. The question is, which of these American monsters will come out on top on this off-road course? There’s only one way to find out - LET’S GO!
