This is the world’s most insane drift car. A mutated McLaren, it’s the brainchild of ‘Mad Mike’ Whiddett, with a little help from McLaren experts Lanzante and luxury car specialists O’Gara Coach.
Now, a McLaren P1 drift car would have been silly enough, but ‘MadMac’ (as it’s affectionately known) fuses a P1 body with a 650S GT3 carbon chassis for the added protection of the latter’s roll cage. Oh, and then whatever McLaren V8 you were expecting has been ditched for a turbocharged, triple-rotor set-up. Peak power is close to four figures…
