BMW’s new infotainment system doesn’t feature any instrument cluster 👀 Instead, it throws everything onto the windscreen.

The new Panoramic iDrive concept consists of four key elements and will be introduced in all new BMW models from the end of 2025. What do you think of it?

▪️ Panoramic Vision
Projects key information on a black strip across the base of the windscreen. It features six slots; driving information is fixed and the rest can be customised.

▪️ New steering wheel
Features haptic buttons, which will illuminate when certain functions are available, such as answering a phone call. No instrument cluster.

▪️ New central display
Angled towards the driver for ease of reach. It runs BMW’s new Operating System X software.

▪️ 3D Head-Up Display (optional)
Projects information into the driver’s line of sight above the Panoramic Vision strip.
