Back in 2021 some OG's from the classic H2Oi days got together and started to plan out a weekend somewhere else. Somewhere away from Ocean City, MD that could possibly be the new home of something fun and relaxing. At first it didn't seem like much would come from it but the ideas became more and more real as the time got closer. I started to then battle with the idea of filming the event vs enjoying it with my friends and now wife. I didn't want to be the one to make this event become well known when it was trying to be kept a secret to avoid being blamed for any negative happenings. So I asked if I could film the event in a much more laid back capacity. I brought one camera, used it handheld, no gimbal or gear, and a roll of super 8 film oh and also my 700hp Legacy. We drove from NY to the Outer Banks, stayed in a house with our friends on the beach, and cruised what reminded us of "the strip." We would hang out on the beach, get dinners, wash our cars, go jet skiing and attend a local show that was taking place at the same time. I chose not to document everything and enjoy my time and film when I felt like it. From that I created this short recap from 4 years ago. I have not been back since and the group is starting to grow allowing in more members who can behave themselves and slowing growing the attendance. Living in Texas its now quite a ways away so I'm not sure if I will return. Maybe one day if all my friends go back as that's what really makes it fun and special. However with everyone moved all around, growing up, creating families, and having bigger responsibilities I'm not sure if that will happen. I will welcome the day when it comes, but for now here is a short recap of that weekend. I hope you guys enjoy.
