Bozidar Radunovic, Microsoft Research, and Arun Venkataramani, University of Massachusetts Proliferation of mobile devices and more advanced applications have pushed the demand for wireless spectrum to the limits. Managing todayΓÇÖs networks and catering for the traffic demand becomes ever more difficult and requires new concepts in wireless network design. At the same time, the new insights in wireless radio designs enable a string of entirely new applications, such as accurate device positioning and new ways of interacting with users.
