The selling point is there, on paper, even if it won’t make a real difference in your daily routine.

Whether the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium is just a more expensive Z3+, or Z5, is yet to be seen. We'll try to answer that, as well as other questions, with the occasion of our coverage in the coming days and weeks, ending with the full review.

For now, we’ll just say this: the Sony Xperia Z5 is one helluva pricey Z3+, with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a 4K display you’ll be happy to tell your friends about, but neither you nor they will be able to tell the difference.
