The Android Open Kang Project (AOKP) is one of the front-runners when it comes to Android custom ROMs. Many have lauded their forward thinking and rapid development schedule -- especially when compared to CyanogenMod.
For those of you who don't remember, back when CyanogenMod was in its infancy we would see new features, tweaks, and changes being added to the ROM very frequently. Today the goals of the CM team have changed. They're aiming for a robust but stable feature-set, and compatibility with many devices as possible. AOKP, on the other hand, are much more like CyanogenMod of yesteryear. AOKP, complete with their pink unicorn with its rainbow mane, are adding new features quite rapidly -- or they were, and then Android Jelly Bean was released.
Finally, in December 2012, AOKP released their first build based on Jelly Bean, but it was missing most of the features that regular AKOPers were used to. Now that more than a month has passed, the team has been able to add quite a few features into the new version, which they've built from the ground-up. How does it look? Hit play and let's see!
