HTC Windows Phone 8X and 8S Hands-On | Pocketnow

We've just spent some time at HTC's Windows Phone event in New York city and we've got a hands-on of their two new Windows Phones. These new HTC Windows Phones have an all-new design, along with some competitive specs.

The Windows Phone 8X has a dual-core Snapdragon S4 CPU clocked at 1.5GHz, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. The display is Super LCD 2 and 720p resolution at 4.3", making for a PPI of 341. It has no microSD storage sadly, but it does have a design worth considering.

The HTC Windows Phone 8S is more of a mid-ranged device, with a dual-core Snapdragon S4 clocked at 1GHz, a 4-inch WVGA display which doesn't do much when it comes to pixels-per-inch. It has 512MB of RAM, and even though it only sports 4G of storage, it does include support for microSD expansion.
