In this video we take a closer look at the hardware of the 4G-capable T-Mobile Sidekick 4G. We talk about screen clarity and temperature, viewing angles, the included buttons and lights, the in-hand feel, and more.

The Sidekick 4G has good ergonomics, and is design to be operated in landscape orientation, as you can tell by the layout and orientation of the buttons. Out of the box, the software is set to not rotate the screen except when you flip out the screen.

In terms of battery, the Sidekick 4G charges extremely fast and can easily go the whole day without a charge.

The keys of the keyboard are spaced well, and the throw on the keys is greater than other keyboards like the Epic 4G. The keys are backlit.

The Sidekick 4G can do HSPA+, and in our early tests, we were clocking pretty impressive data speeds of around 4-6mbps down.
