In this video we demonstrate the hardware of the HTC EVO Shift 4G operating on Sprint's network. The EVO Shift feels sturdy in hand. The device is adorned with a metallic blue-hued bezel with a rubberized coating on the back and sides to prevent slippage. The four-row keyboard is also decked out with a blue tint. Typing on the device is cumbersome because the keys are so flush. The screen is a 3.6 inch WVGA glass capacitive mulitouch LCD. Powering everything is an 800MHz Qualcomm MSM7630 along with 512MB of RAM and 2GB of ROM. The EVO Shift comes with a 2GB microSD card that is expandable to 32GB. The radios included are CDMA 800 and 1900 bands, Wi-Fi b/g/n, FM receiver, aGPS, and Bluetooth 2.1. The sensors incorporated are an accelerometer, digital compass, proximity, and light sensor. The EVO Shift has a 3.5mm headphone jack and uses a microUSB 2.0 port for both charging and syncing. The camera is a 5MP with an LED flash which is capable of recording 720p video. The battery is a 1500mAh Li-ion.
