Smartwatches still need work. We can all agree on that. But if you’re going to purchase one this holiday season, it might as well be the Moto 360. Here’s why.

First, and most obvious, is that the Moto 360 is objectively the prettiest smartwatch currently available; that champagne gold color option is especially beautiful. Other Android Wear devices come close—the ZenWatch is right up there—but nothing can touch the 360’s timeless elegance. It looks like a luxury timepiece, and that’s a very big deal. What most manufacturers failed to see early on in the smartwatch race was that design is equally as important as functionality. Why do you think the LG G Watch R exists?
