Samsung Captivate Glide Review
To answer your question: Yes, companies do still make QWERTY devices, and the Samsung Captivate Glide is the newest keyboard-toting member in the increasingly disappearing market. While most of the phones we saw in 2011 came sans keyboard, there are still those who long for the physical press of a button in addition to a beautiful touchscreen. In an increasingly touch-centric world, there may still be room yet for QWERTY devices.
Equipped with a 4-inch Super AMOLED display, the Captivate Glide runs on AT&T's 21MBps HSPA+ network. In addition, the device packs a 1GHz dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB of internal storage, Bluetooth 3.0, 8 megapixel rear camera with 720p HD video recording and a 1.3 front-facing shooter. But at $150 with two-year contract on AT&T, is the Glide captivating enough to garner a purchase over plain old touchscreen devices?
Check out our unboxing and hands-on, and stay tuned for further Captivate Glide coverage.
