Kindle Touch Unboxing!
Despite Amazon's decision to jump into the tablet foray, the company has made it clear it's still very much invested in the e-reader game -- Kindle, Kindle Touch and Kindle Keyboard. We brought you our impressions of the barebones fourth-generation Kindle, and now we've gotten our hands on the Kindle Touch.
Starting at $99 for ad-supported and WiFi-only, the Kindle Touch is joining the touch e-reader party with some catching up to do -- Nook, Kobo and Sony have already populated e-ink touchscreen market. Does the Kindle Touch have what it takes to stand out?
The Kindle Touch comes equipped with a 6-inch E-ink Pearl dual-touch display, 2 month battery life (wireless of), 256MB RAM, 4GB internal storage, X-Ray search feature and audio functionality. The price will spike up to $139 without ads, WiFi-only, while those looking for 3G will pay $149 ad-supported, and $189 without ads. Check out the video for our unboxing, and stay tuned for further Kindle Touch coverage. tchno.be/rY0aDM
