Some of the hottest news coming out of E3 this year is the announcement by Nintendo of the Wii U console/controller. Formerly known as Project Cafe, it has people buzzing because of the potential uses for the device, and how it could potentially expand the uses of the current Wii console.
Having spent some time at E3 now, I got to see the Wii U in person, but sadly they wouldn't let me hold it and film (I had to touch it off camera). I can say it looks very much inline with the current hardware from the company, and the screen looks very crisp. They were only running selected clips, and a little bit of gameplay, so it's hard to make a final judgement call on how good the Wii U will be, or how well the integration will work, but it definitely looks like it has some promise.
