Ben Wilson, CTO of GE Oil & Gas, talks about how the global energy division of General Electric is using AWS to migrate about 500 applications to the cloud as part of a broad digital transformation. Oil & Gas is leveraging products like Amazon Aurora, AWS Elastic Beanstalk, and the AWS Import/Export Snowball appliance, which it’s using to transfer more than 750 terabytes of data from pipeline inspection machinery to AWS.
