Wendell's Pick: RX Vega 56 -- better overall value due to better overclockability and price point @ $499 available August 28.
Ryan's Pick: RX Vega 64 -- better long-term outlook, maximum performance. Much better 4k experience at medium/high settings vs Vega 56. Available now @ $599.
Note: Something is not right on Linux with these (fresh Ubuntu Install), so we will revisit that in a future video. Also, SR-IOV seems not to be supported, but there are some as-yet-unturned rocks we can experiment with. Gotta get an EFI shell and check directly :D Any bios modders out there?? haha.

LOUDNESS:
It's a blower style cooler. It tends to stay less than 2700 rpm, so it isn't especially loud except during the most demanding loads, or if you overclock it. We accidentally dropped that scene oops!
TL;DW: Vega 56 is like a power-hungry Nvidia GTX 1070 that gets 5-10 fps better in some games, and does slightly worse (2-5 fps) in some games. DX11 performance in GTA V was impressive. Overclocking can deliver significantly higher minimum frame rates.
Vega 64 is like a power-hungry Nvidia GTX 1080, and typically 3-8 fps faster, depending on the game. 2560x1440p and 3440x1440p performance is good, and the experience is best when paired with a Freesync monitor.
The drivers are still pretty early and we can expect improvements as we have seen from 290/290x to the 390/390x and from the RX480 to the RX580 .
