Here's what happens when Mattel makes a Google Cardboard nostalgia machine! The View-Master Virtual Reality Kit is incredibly cool, especially for the $30 price tag. Check out our hands-on article for more! When you open up the box, you'll immediately see the View-Master under a hardened see-through molded plastic piece. At the top is a small nub that doesn't have a View-Master cartridge, instead it'll let you pop open the viewer to see where the phone will go. What you will need to do is grab the apps to view. You can play around with your usual Google Cardboard apps, or pick up any of the three View-Master applications. You'll need to purchase those, but grabbing the View-Master does get you access to demos for all three.
