The Late 2016 MacBook Pro, USB C MacBook, or Touchbar MacBook Pro (all names for same mode) does not have any upgradable internal storage but that does not mean you cannot add external storage. Here are a few ways we recommend adding storage.
You can install an SSDs in an external USB enclosure and connected it with a USB C adapter. USB A to C adapters should work with just about any USB drives you already have. As a bonus if you go between an older system and your new MacBook you can simply remove the adapter and still use the same hardware.
You can use USB A flash drives you might already have or use a flash drive with both USB A and C connections like our DataTraveler microDuo 3C kingston.com/us/usb/personal_b...
You could also go wireless. The Kingston MobieLite Wirless can allow for wireless connection to SD cards, USB drives, and even SSDs in USB SATA enclosures via Wi-Fi. kingston.com/us/wireless/wirel...
