The session sees Dave Walker talking on industry best practices for Securing AWS Resources in the UK and globally – including CIS AWS Foundations and the various Assurance Programs that AWS covers including FedRamp, PCI DSS, SOC, ISO 27001, and Gov.uk.
The session also provides an overview of AWS’s Shared Responsibility Model, AWS Audit Reports and AWS master control list with about 1800 internal controls, mapped to external standards – all of which are intended to help customers benefit from an environment built for the most security sensitive organisations.

The session also sheds light on AWS’s Enterprise Accelerator Initiative that offers packaged service offerings designed to help enterprise customers rapidly develop key capabilities for cloud projects.
