Data Lake Analytics, Security, and Compliance Featuring US Census Data Lake Vision and Strategy

Data Lake is an increasingly popular pattern to store and analyze large amounts of heterogeneous data. Many organizations have built their data lakes on AWS, enabling them to derive insights and value from their data in an agile fashion, while also giving them the capability to seamlessly adopt more sophisticated analytics tools as skills and needs evolve.

In this session, we will discuss architectural strategies towards securely building a data lake on AWS with Big Data storage, search and retrieval, collaboration, and analytics functionality. US Census Bureau CTO Nitin Naik will present the US Census Data Lake strategy. We will demonstrate a functioning, secure data lake that was built for this customer.
