Exact Sciences (Exact), maker of Cologuard, a noninvasive colon cancer screening test, partnered with itelligence, an IT business consulting firm, to migrate to SAP S/4HANA on AWS while maintaining compliance controls with HIPAA security and privacy rules. itelligence and Exact have an existing relationship to maintain a legacy ERP system. Given Exact’s business growth over the past six years, the team decided to migrate directly to SAP S/4HANA on SUSE Linux Enterprise Server for SAP Applications to leverage the power of the digital core. itelligence led a series of digital transformation workshops focused on the migration to S/4HANA. These workshops helped Exact understand what a migration would look like, how it would take place, and what the specific steps would be. The outcome was an investment decision designed under the umbrella of the new S/4HANA-enabled business processes to support Exact’s future growth plans. Together, they created a migration roadmap on AWS to take advantage of a scalable, flexible, cost-effective, reliable, and secure platform, while supporting the company’s HIPAA compliance requirements. This presentation is brought to you by AWS partner, SUSE.
