As designers, we listen, consciously or not. We listen to ourselves, to another, to many. Design, particularly UX, can be thought of as a feedback loop, where systems listen to users, and users listen to system, using all of our respective senses.
But what does it mean to listen? What does it mean to listen to data? What happens when data listens to us? How do we design to listen? How do we design listening?
By looking at a few recent projects, Experience Designer Daniel Perlin will take a look at some approaches to designing for listening to users and designing to help users listen closely and better to each other.
