In Episode 10 of Microsoft Unboxed, hosts Sonia and Colleen discuss Microsoft’s global datacenters. From South Africa to Oslo, Norway, these datacenters combine computing power, networking, storage and software to help provide services to the local region. Sonia explores how datacenters support our growing customer cloud business and ensure secure, compliant industry innovation.

Colleen explains the benefits of sustainable datacenters, designed to meet customer needs. One example of this type of green datacenter is Project Natick, a subsea datacenter powered by offshore renewable energy.
