Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) is proud to share our path to success in delivering faster and better access to data. Attendees will learn how IDPH recovered from an end-of-life legacy platform and an aging data center on life support. By shifting from on-premises to cloud-based AWS storage coupled with Tableau for analytics, IDPH was able to adopt an enterprise-wide data consumption model. The AWS migration has resulted in increased service quality, operational stability, and network sustainability.
