Accenture: Large Scale Asset Inventory Tracking with AWS Fargate

Accenture runs large scale resource inventory discovery jobs against the AWS platform every few minutes to create a close to real-time view of tens of thousands of elements. In a prior iteration, Accenture had chosen Lambda as the way to analyze each resource component individually, leading to thousands of Lambda invocations per minute. Containers on AWS Fargate provided a better, memory-optimized alternative to Lambda. In this episode, Accenture will introduce you how they pivoted their AWS architecture.
