Humans and AI tells stories of passionate people, from all walks of life, who are using AI to transform our society and our world for the better.

As COVID-19 ravaged the world, Hadas Bitran and her team saw a great need to help frontline health workers. Within days they deployed a COVID-19 self-assessment bot that would enable people to check their symptoms before going to the ER. As Blood plasma from Covid-19 survivors proved to be a successful treatment to the virus, the team joined the Plasma alliance to help launch the Plasma Bot, that way survivors of the virus could use to see if they qualify to donate their plasma to help treat patients.

Hadas's story is part of the new series Humans and AI from Microsoft. These stories are more important now than ever because humanity is in the midst of an extraordinary awakening: that every living thing on earth is interconnected. The way we address our most significant challenges will impact the quality of life for all of us.
