LG Electronics is expanding ThinQ IoT services worldwide based on AWS IoT Core. LGE has provided data connectivity via IoT Core from tens millions of devices, like home appliances, robots, and TV services, as well as seamless connectivity with external platform service. At the moment of data inflow, AWS IoT Rule and Device Shadow services enable ThinQ to execute the proper business scenarios and store data to data lakes together. To add more value based on insights gathered from those devices, they plan to build analytics environments.
