In the latest episode of Generation Play, we highlight Ivana de Maria, tech founder and creator of Story Place, an app that allows users to create a digital story and share it with the world.

Born in California and raised in Mexico City, Ivana de Maria’s Hispanic heritage always welcomed personal stories as a means of understanding and empathy. Without a traditional tech background, Ivana learned as she built StoryPlace, a digital storytelling platform that allows users to create a digital story and share it with the world. Ivana de Maria’s story alone is an inspiration for women in tech everywhere.

In honor of Hispanic Heritage month, we are excited to highlight Ivana’s incredible story. Her journey is an inspiration to all aspiring Latinx developers and encourages female representation in tech as a whole.
