How to build Modern Android App Widgets in Android 12

Widgets have been part of the Android core experience for a long time. They serve millions of apps to increase their users' app engagement from within the home screen. Android 12 revamps the existing Widgets API improving user and developer experiences, and streamlines developer experiences with better tooling powered by Compose.

This talk will focus on three main topics:
* What are Android widgets and how they work
* How to make modern Widgets for Android 12 with the new Material You theme
* Better tooling to build widgets
