The AWS Storage Gateway Hardware Appliance is a dedicated stand-alone physical server that is deployed on-premises, and provides all the required CPU, memory, network, and SSD cache resources for running AWS Storage Gateway. There is no need for any other IT infrastructure except for connectivity to AWS. This video provides an overview of the appliance and details how you can order an appliance in the AWS Console.
