AWS opens opportunities for RetinAI to transform the way clinical studies are done

A major challenge in developing therapies and conducting clinical trials is the average length of time to bring a product to the market, taking approximately 10-12 years, reducing the time to leverage market exclusivity and a competitive position with a typical patent of only 20 years. There is also significant risk to bring a product to market: only 1 in every 10,000 compounds evaluated makes it to the market. Reasons for failure include issues related to efficacy, safety, studying the wrong clinical study endpoints or outcomes and discontinuation of studies due to reasons of slow enrollment rates.
