Panel discussion: Is the future of the metaverse work or play?

We are moving from a world of 2d content in screens, to a world of 3d immersive experiences where users will be inside the content. Every time we see a new form of digital Interaction appear -from the internet, to smart phones-, we need to brace for changes: from envisioning new experiences, to tackling challenges of transitioning between devices, to new forms of interaction and interoperability. But what about all the hype around the metaverse? Will it really be a game changer that transforms our work and social life? Or will it be more of an evolution that finds a place within our current digital ecosystems.

This panel will feature a hybrid meeting, in an experimental Hybrid Meeting room, with six world-class experts debating the future of the metaverse and how it will impact our work and play in the future.
