3M migrated thousands of applications to AWS, achieving scalability, resilience, and innovation that weren’t possible with their aging on-premises data centers. 3M uses science to improve lives and help solve the world’s toughest challenges by manufacturing industrial, safety, and consumer products.

3M used AWS Application Migration Service (CloudEndure Migration) to migrate a diverse set of workloads into multiple AWS Regions with minimal business downtime.

Following the migration, 3M advanced its modernization process by moving some of its migrated workloads into Amazon Relational Database Service (Amazon RDS) and implementing AWS Lambda capabilities.
