Lance Carr - a Colorado gamer with a rare form of muscular dystrophy - was at home playing video games one afternoon when a fire turned his life upside down.
This year at I/O, we’re celebrating Lance’s resilient return to gaming. Over the last year, Lance collaborated with a team of Googlers to co-create a new technology that uses MediaPipe and Tensor Flow Lite to turn facial gestures into mouse movements. The resulting solution is now open-sourced and available for everyone to game and create with.
