In this video, Ian Olson, Sr. Security Specialist Solution Architect with AWS, explains the importance of being able to forecast your AWS Shield Advanced service usage costs and relevant data points you will need in order to do so. Ian then walks us through how to produce a realistic cost estimate for AWS Shield Advanced using historical billing data in AWS Cost Explorer and Amazon Athena for a variety of different use cases.
