Keys to the kingdom: Everything you need to know about your encryption keys

Encryption is the most fundamental privacy-and-security control for data, and it’s a core part of any cloud data protection strategy. But the level of protection it affords is only as effective as the key management strategies that users employ. When you’re faced with the threat of data leakage, data retention complexity, or data deletion, owning your keys is the best option for your peace of mind. Luckily, Google makes key management easy to use. In this session, we’ll cover the range of key options Google Cloud offers, including hardware keys you can store with Google or outside of Google’s infrastructure. We’ll also cover industry-vertical solutions that can enable customers to follow data security regulations around the world.
