The scale needed to study the effects of a pandemic on a large population requires very large compute power. With AWS SimSpace Weaver, Johns Hopkins University is able to simulate large scale impacts while AWS auto scales the compute resources required to run the simulation, enabling them to focus on the simulation not the infrastructure.
