A modern environment that helps deliver secure, sustainable solutions to customers; that’s the big benefit of innogy’s move to Amazon Web Services (AWS), according to IT infrastructure senior manager Petr Bohac. The leading natural gas provider in the Czech Republic—which also supplies electricity and heat, and develops clean mobility solutions—innogy has been using AWS for 8 years. Migrating to the cloud has given the company increased flexibility to build applications and deliver new experiences such as chatbot functionality to improve call center responses. Its developers continue innovating, using services such as Amazon CodeWhisperer, and exploring artificial intelligence and machine learning use cases.
