In this video, you will learn how using MCP (Model Context Protocol) standardizes the way applications provide context to LLMs, enabling powerful integrations with Amazon Q CLI. We will go through the MCP server structure, Tool definitions, AWS SDK Integration, Connectivity, Error Handling etc. After completing this workshop, you can continue your journey with MCP servers and Amazon Q – 1. To extend the capabilities of the example MCP servers (Calculator Server, RDS Operator Server, S3 Operator Server and PG server), 2. Build new MCP Servers, 3. Refine/Optimize your MCP servers and 4.
