I have been doing most of my gaming on the Steam Deck; mainly because it's a great way to replace doom-scrolling time. I was extremely unhappy with the buttons, so I'll be replacing them with eXtremeRate clicky buttons.

I figured I might as well replace the M.2 with something larger while I'm at it. So, I grabbed a WD Black 2 TB SN740 M.2. Why not a WD_Black 2 TB SN770M? Well, the SN740 was on sale. I've also seen some tests that say it uses slightly less power meaning the Steam Deck will have a longer battery life, but I'm not sure if this is really that big of a dea. The SN740 might have a longer life... tests show it getting slightly warmer... But really, they are almost identical. Get the one that is on sale.
