As networks evolve toward 6G, AI will play a central role in managing increasing complexity and opening new application opportunities. This talk explores the architectural foundations of AI-native networks and how intent-driven systems can transform network operation — allowing human goals to be expressed at a high level and automatically translated into network behaviours. We discuss how such systems enable programmability, orchestration, and application deployment across the edge-cloud continuum, paving the way for flexible and adaptive 6G infrastructures.
