Acer Put a Metal Fan in a Gaming Handheld

Acer brought three new products to Computex 2026, but the standout is the Predator Atlas 8. It's a gaming handheld with an 8 inch Full HD 120Hz display and a Predator AeroBlade metal fan inside. Acer says it's the first brand to put a metal fan into a handheld, with the cooling headroom to push sustained performance harder than plastic fans allow.
Also at the booth: the Aspire X16 AI notebook for creators and gamers (Intel Core Ultra X9 with Intel Xe graphics) and the Swift Spin 14 AI convertible running on Snapdragon X2 Elite, which ships with the new Acer Active Stylus 420.
