AS Roma wanted to bring die-hard fans closer to the action, so they partnered with Google to debut the #shoeselfie machine. Letting AS Roma stars, including Francesco Totti, show off their boots before the biggest game of the year against Juventus. The shoeselfies were shared to Google+ before the big game and the response from fans was astounding. The shoeselfies were viewed by 55k in the stadium, 4.3m on Google+ and 10s of millions watching worldwide.
