iPhone 6S vs. Sony Xperia Z5 Compact - Fingerprint Sensor Review!

The Apple iPhone 6S came out recently and it possess the feature of fingerprint unlock. Since the Sony Xperia Z5 Compact also has the fingerprint unlock, we decided to compare the speeds of the two. Let’s see which phone unlocks fastest.

I registered a new fingerprint on the Z5 Compact and the iPhone 6S to be used in the speed test experiment. Then both the screens were lighted up and unlocked by pressing the finger on to the unlock buttons in each phone. Although it’s very difficult to see which one was the fastest, the Z5 Compact’s unlock speed looked more natural than the iPhone 6S.

Another thing that was noticed is that the fingerprint scanner or the unlock button is located more conveniently on the Z5 Compact by Sony on the side. In the iPhone 6S, it is the home button which is located in the lower middle and is not as convenient.

Both the devices consist of great fingerprint unlock features both with considerably great speeds but the Z5’s scanner seems to be slightly better.
