iPhone 6S vs. Sony Xperia Z5 Compact - Which Is Faster?

First speed test of the Apple iPhone 6S in comparison to another smartphone. The device which being compared is the new expensive compact smartphone from Sony, Xperia Z5 Compact. So let’s see which one of the iPhone 6S and Z5 Compact is the fastest.

Startup speed comparison gave us quite a shock as the iPhone 6S started way faster than the Z5 Compact. The startup speed of the iPhone 6S seems to have a massive difference also with its predecessor, the Apple iPhone 6.

Xperia Z5 Compact feels somewhat laggy in general which was also observed in a previous video review of the device. During the speed-test the Z5 compact was running Android 5.1.1, which cannot be the reason responsible for the lag. There is a chance that the fault is within the Sony user interface.

Opening up the app store on iPhone 6S and the play store on the Z5 compact was done next with both devices connected to the same Wi-Fi connection. The Android play store started up faster than the iOS app store which is noticed in speed test comparisons of other devices as well. But in loading app pages, iOS wins over.

Loading up several more apps showed only minor differences in speed. As you could see, even though these devices are both expensive, the iPhone 6S won in terms of quality in general performance.
