Ubuntu MATE 16.04 LTS has been released and announced by Ubuntu MATE Developer. This release include mate desktop 1.12, powered by long-term support Linux Kernel series 4.4, synapse full integreted with MATE Desktop, introduce Software boutique, support for docklets, MATE tweak bringing support for enabling Synapse.
