A key disadvantage of current genome browsers is the inability to support smooth navigation of data from high to low resolutions at rapid speed. This project attempts to address this issue by utilizing the richness enabled by Silverlight and DeepZoom technologies to build a genome browser, allowing users to naturally navigate and explore the multi-dimensional information across a genome. In addition, the genome browser will enable input of custom data and user annotations.
