It's not every day you schedule a podcast the day before one of the biggest Windows Phone announcements in the platform's history - but given our plans to host a special-edition Pocketnow Live event covering Nokia's NYC event tomorrow, we thought it best to get the Weekly out of the way ahead of time.
That doesn't mean we don't talk Nokia - indeed, we've got Chief News Editor Stephen Schenck on the air with us this week to discuss what it's been like to follow the story of the EOS/1020/909, probably one of the most widely-leaked devices in smartphone history. We also follow the leaky thought thread over to Motorola and LG to talk about their most recent wares, and we never get too far away from camera talk, as smartphone optical performance seems to be the "key differentiator" for 2013.
All that, plus Taylor Martin broadcasting from an 85-degree room in the Super-Carolina heat, after the break! So get your iced coffee and fire up the A/C: today's Pocketnow Weekly Podcast is here to heat up your ear canals. Send feedback, questions, and requests to podcast [AT] pocketnow [DOT] com. Follow us on Twitter, Facebook, and Google Plus to stay apprised of the latest episodes. Thanks for listening!
